standing in awkward positions whether with my legs as far apart as possible, my head body twisted in obscure positions, grouching down as low as possible or even lying down on the ground.

just to get that one perfect angle for that one perfect shot.

G’DAY EVERYONE,

I’m Justin.  I live in Brisbane, Australia and I got an SLR for my 21st birthday.

Here’s my story.

Photography is you could say one of my hobbies.  I love being creative, being unique and bringing my personal perspective on the world.  I’m definitely no expert in the field and probably won’t be.  All i know is that… hey that looks good let’s try get what i see with my eyes into my camera!

I used the auto setting for probably a good 9 months, to lazy to adventure into the Manual settings.  Recently i have adventured into the world of Manual photography and am ADDICTED… only coming back to Auto mode when I really can’t be bothered or something in manual isn’t working.

I see the world in 2 ways

ONE
I see the world as it is.  I believe this world was created by God, to be a witness to His genius so post processing the sky to be a colour it wasn’t the moment i took a photo is out of the question.

TWO
i see the world as overprocessed.  I love lomography, helga and all sorts.  I love how the randomness of a cup on the table can become a piece of photographic artwork with the right tools.  Vignettes rock my world and so do polaroids! haha.

Anyway that is me.  Just another dude trying to share his perspective and take on the world.  I don’t photograph to make postcards, I photograph just because I want to…

55-200mm (my favourite lense but super impractical)

p.s. i will cheer for NIKON but seriously… i don’t care haha as long as I’ve got that sweet sweet SLR in my hands =D
